Shipping & Returns
Shipping
We aim to ship out all orders within 7 working days (if not sooner).
Currently we only ship in the UK, Isle of Man,, Australia, United States, Denmark and South Africa.
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 to ship our UK orders, and use Royal Mail tracked services for all international orders wherever possible. This is a tracked service that includes full online tracking, so you or the recipient can monitor the parcel’s progress. SMS/email recipient notifications are optional and Safeplace is also available if a recipient isn’t going to be at home. We may use other shipping partners as needed, and occasionally your order may not be sent using a tracked service if it's not possible.
Royal Mail aim to deliver the item within 2-3 days in the UK. Postage can unfortunately sometimes be delayed, which is out of our control. Please wait a minimum of 10 days before contacting us regarding an undelivered order.
Shipping is calculated by weight. For larger, bulk or wholesale orders, please contact us and we'll arrange special delivery with you directly. We may also use flat rate fees.
For South Africa, we offer a free collection from Durban North as well as a flat rate shipping anywhere in the country. This may be a door-to-door delivery or a collection from a pick-up point, dependant on the best options available for the delivery at the time of purchase.
We currently do not offer express shipping options.
Customs & Taxes
Your country may charge you a customs fee to receive your Freda Studio order if your delivery location is outside of the United Kingdom. Please check your country's customs policies and rates before placing your order so that you are aware of the total cost.
Returns
If you are unhappy with your product, please contact us to initiate a return. Returns are accepted within 28 days of the original purchase date. The book must be in its original, unopened condition and items that are in an unsellable condition won’t be refunded.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process the refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. The refund will be the cost of the item minus the postage cost.
Faulty items
Any faulty items must be returned to us before a replacement or refund is provided. We will only replace it with the same item. Refunds are processed in accordance with the refund policy below.
How to return an item:
- Contact Freda on Etsy or email at fredastudio@gmail.com with your order number and details.
- Pack the item securely and include a printed copy your purchase receipt. Alternatively, write your name, the order number and the address it was originally shipped to on a piece of paper and slip it in with the packed item. Returns cannot be processed without this information.
- Return the item. We suggest using a trackable shipping service to ensure the safe return of the item as the item is your responsibility until we receive it. Please note the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping costs cannot be refunded.
- We will contact you to let you know about the process of your return.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund. If your refund is approved, it will be processed automatically through your original payment method. Please keep in mind that the processing and posting of the refund by your bank or credit card company may take some time.
- Please note the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Only the Product Cost is eligible for refunds, original shipping costs cannot be refunded
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method
